1- Workshops The workshops are designed as a networking platform, which will allow artists, promoters, media people & music headz to share experience and knowledge. Friday 19/4 (2-6 pm): NU MUSIC MARKETING How is electro music produced, promoted and marketed today? Representatives from the industry will come and talk about their projects (past, present, future) in order to teach, to learn, or to ask for help. This workshop will be devided into three parts: LABELS (2:00-2:45), MEDIA (3:00-3:45), EVENTS (4:00-4:45). Then you'll be able to network around a drink. The discussions will be moderated by Manu (Lab[au]), Nicola (Papi Groove - Radio Panik + Campus). Special guests from Paris: Alexandre Lazerges (Technikart, Epok) and Vincent Brunner (Trax, Les Inrockuptibles, Epok).
Saturday 20/4 (2-4pm): ELECTRO FEMMES Lucky you: unlike other music scene, electro is full of talented smart girlz. Who are they? What do they do? Why should you listen when they talk? This afternoon will be hosted by our favourite "electro femmes": LEKTROGIRL from London (2:00-3:00), CANDY TRASH (3:00-4:00), GIRLICIOUS Djanes from Paris (4:00-5:00). You won't believe what you'll see and hear. More details will be given to those who inquire.
2- Music (from 11 pm) Friday 19 april: ELECTRO%PIX LABEL NIGHT Just after our label showcase at Domino Festival (AB), we'll go back to Hotel Arlequin for a night of nu skool electro, featuring: Daryl Frigobox (www.synaptykalkonk.com) Electropix Breakbeat Scientists (Sinusjog, Halofaust, Firestarter, Agent KLX...) and our special guest from Germany: SKANFROM LIVE (Suction rec / ADSR)
Saturday 20 april: IT'S ELECTRO%CHIIIC: GOD IS A DJane! After the Chicks On Speed evening at Domino Festival (AB), we'll go back to Hotel Arlequin for a night of Electro featuring ONLY GIRLZ: Girlicious (Paris) for the warm-up Candy Trash (Paris) for a crazy electro cabaret Zoopsie (Sci-Fi Stress) for a selection of nu-skool-old-skool soundclash and our special guest and NEW ELECTR%PIX RESIDENT from LONDON: LEKTROGIRL DJANE SET (Rephlex, UK)
