The phenomena of white noise is explained as the overlapping of all frequencies forming a constant noise, in aim to build up an open programmatic field a data space, absorbing and diffusing the total spectrum of information all what could be the most urban. The project is thoroughly designed out of complementary processes of combination and superposition merging the specific social matrix of the city with the new condition of urbanity. The conversion of traditional planning concepts into spatio-temporal considerations such as frequencies, time layers, sequences, ambiences, rhythm, suit, flows, fields, textures according to the new urban phenomena as a less physical than mediated situation. Following an interest in the representation of virtual space, the model of the city rendered in the movie is overlaid with film sequences mapped on virtual layers. They suggest various ambiences along the entire axis in this space-time context. The different ambiences are rendered with sound band which are overlaid, their superposition illustrates the concept of white noise. The navigation through these time layers is based on the transformation from one temporal urban situation to the next. The spatial layering of these different urban conditions create an urban scenario, a composition of situations that create a possible reality. |
