The art collection of Dexia Bank contains a 4500 works and is the largest
private collection of Belgium. It consists in broad outlines of three groups:

Flemish masters from the 16th and 17th century. A broad collection which
has besides paintings also important wall rugs, old books, furniture and
sculptures.
- The Modern Art from 1860 until 1960. An overview of all Belgian art forms,
from realism until abstract art.
- Art from 1960 until today. Including works
form among others Marcel Broodthaers, Roger Raveel, Luc Tuymans, Jan Fabre
en Berlinde De Bruyckere, it embraces the most dynamic department.
