abstract
And if we were to mix the letters of colour names, just as we mix paint, what would these anagrams tell us? Three flags on the façade of the Belgian collector space Cloudseven will welcome from now on the visitors with an interpretation of its possible reading, namely that of colour.
transcoding:
colours to words, words to colours
text
The artists chose three of the 22 potential colour name anagrams that could be written as "cloudseven" to become flags. All the research is documented in a book, edited for this occasion, showing all the combinations while addressing the history of these colours. These paintings are an investigation into the semantics of colours.
